Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition, with a GOOD DJ under Mylar.

• Black cloth covers are mostly clean, with gilt title on spine.  Boards show some edgewear.  Corners are bumped. 
• Spine has gilt text and is bright with softened ends.
• Binding is secure. 
• Pale gray end papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear.
• Frontispiece is present. 
• Illustrations, photographs, are clear. 
• Interior is gently age-toned.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. 
• Text block is bumped at lower back corner where cover corner is bumped.  See photos. 
• Illustrated DJ is nicely preserved behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
• DJ has some edgewear, chipped corners, closed tears along head edge, bumping along foot edge, some staining to back, wear at spine shoulder.  See photos.

From Arkham House Publishers, on the twentieth anniversary of its foundation, comes this collection of Lovecraftiana.  Compiled by August Derleth, who developed the title story from a piece left incomplete at Lovecraft's death, the volume "offers some illuminating footnotes to Lovecraft's story, and adds to the list of Cthulhu tales the memorable title story and the haunting Fisherman of Falcon Point."
