The Mabinogion, a collection of ancient Welsh tales, some Christian and some pre-Christian, became known in modern print thanks to the English translation by Charlotte Guest (1812-1895), first published in 1838.  This edition is part of The Welsh Library series, edited by Owen Edwards (1858-1920).

Bookseller sticker is from Joseph S. Milligan, Welton Mount, Leeds (UK).
