• Boards show some wear, aging.  Corners are scuffed.  Please see photographs for details of condition.   
• Spine is ruled in gilt and is bright, with signs of opening and bumped ends.  
• Binding is secure.  
• Endpapers are toned, have pencil notation at front.
• 13 engraved plates, at pages 10, 25, 52, 58, 74, 93, 122, 127, 143, 151, 173, 218, 221, 247, (plate absent facing p.163).
• Title-page is present, in first state with miniature spelled "minuiture". 
• Second title-page after p.148: A Concise History of the New Testament. London, Printed for E.Newbery, Corner of St. Pauls Churchyard, 1780.
• With the "Crowder & Hemsted, Printers, Warwick-Square" at rear.  
• Interior is age-toned.  
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. 
• Text block edges have All Edges Gilt (dulled).

The Newbery miniature Bible, in period full calf binding with gilt ruling on the spine and gilt ornamented cover edges.  Engraved title-page plus second title-page after p. 148 to mark start of the New Testament.  Thirteen of fourteen engraved plates (plate  facing p 163 missing).  With "Crowder & Hemsted, Printers, Warwick-Square" at close of page 256.
