A very good copy of this scholarly edition, with English translation and annotations, of an important Aztec herbal from 1552. Written by an Aztec doctor, and translated into Latin at the time by another Aztec, this work captures Aztec medicine as it was when Europeans arrived in Mexico.
Includes color plates of the manuscript.
