Portfolio of color lithographs commissioned beginning in 1966, which appeared in a series of advertisements for the Westinghouse Broadcasting Company. The artist is Corita Kent (1919-1986), at the time head of the art department of Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles. Cover message by Donald H. McGannon, Chairman of the Board and President of WBC. Each sheet has a full color lithograph by Corita, side by side with a notable quotation (e.g. Goethe, Ben Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Thoreau) and comment from WBC about the duty, purpose, and goals of radio and television broadcasting to American society.
First edition, issued January 1, 1974. Complete.
