CELESTE DELL'ANNA - 1991 [Limited Edition] Italian Architecture Yachts Design

Product Description

Celeste Dell'Anna

Very scarce. Edition 500 of 1,000 printed. Covers the operating methods and procedural phases of the Celeste Dell'Anna studio with tipped in color photos throughout. 81 pages. 9" by 12.5".

This publication evolved to illustrate to the reader the work and the thoughts that inspire the activity of the Celeste Dell'Anna Studio, which is celebrating its first decade. The love for art and architecture has been the constant thread in the professional growth of Celeste Dell'Anna. His philosophy is born from the conviction that the past remains within us all, and the logical premise for the present and the future. For this reason it should be studied, recovered, re-elaborated and why not even "reconstructed" without any embarrassment. In his houses, plasterwork, columns, cornices, scagliolas, precious fabrics, furniture and collections fuse together to satisfy the desires of an international clientele. Celeste Dell" Anna creates for every client that which he refers to as the "private theatre of performance" a place that is removed from the neuroses of daily life.

"A philosophy that nonetheless does not hesitate to immerse itself in the present and project itself into the future with the intent of ccreating a corresponding harmony between periods. Thus the individual and the environment merge together making the home even more the mirror of the soul: a game of mirrors that opens infinite perspectives. A philosophy that transcends the usual scheme and rules, that abhors the vulgarisation of mass production, because environments, with their light and shadow, their shades and tones, must always remain the true protagonists in what is a game of seduction without end."
