Vellum is overall in GOOD condition.

Volume is in good condition with severe wear from aging on covers and inside.
Vellum covers are toned with scattered staining, and some small holes on front and back.
Wraps display severe edgewear from rubbing and chipping, with partial exposure of boards.
Corners are creased and rubbed.
Spine is faded and darkened with bumped ends.
Binding is secure.
Pastedowns are strongly toned, with cracking along hinges and edges, and some pencil marks and inscriptions.
Front fep displays severe edge wear with irregular cut, and an ink inscription from previous owner along upper edge. (See photos)
Interior is toned with scattered foxing and finger marks, mostly marginal, throughout. (See photos)
Commensurate toning is darker than photo, which are over-bright, yet still modest for the vintage.
Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
Some pages exhibit corner creases, and holes at gutter, at head part. (See photos)
Text block edges are severely toned and darkened.
Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
