This volume is divided into two books: The Ladies' Companion and Family Physician and Ladies' Domestic Economy and Housekeeper's Guide. 136 pages. 6" by 9.25".

• Brown cloth boards feature gilt lettering on the front with a stamped design along the perimeter, which has retained much of its original detail. 
• Boards are light worn, primarily along the edges, with spotting to all surfaces. 
• Corners are bumped and exposed. 
• Spine ends are exposed with five chips missing from the cloth finish. 
• Binding is secure. 
• Endpapers are age-toned with light foxing and stains. 
• Front hinge shows a small crack along the uppermost portion while the rear hinge shows a small crack to the lower portion. Please see photos. 
• Ffep is creased along top corner with an open tear to the lower corner.
• Interior is age-toned with heavy foxing throughout though overall the type remains legible. 
• Pages 121/122 are dogeared at upper corner. 
• Pages 121-124 show large stains. Please see photos. 
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
• Text block edges are darkened. 
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
