- Binding is strong.
- Photo illustrated end papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear.
- Frontispiece, an original lithograph, is present.
- Illustrations are bright and clear.
- Interior is gently age-toned. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
- Text block edges have a few marks.
- DJ looks great behind Mylar.

A very good copy of the George Braziller first edition, with DJ, of the story of Marc Chagall's design and execution of the Jerusalem Window cycle of 1962. With two original lithographs made for this volume, and richly illustrated in color.
Installed in 1962 after being exhibited in Paris and New York, the Jerusalem Windows have their home in the synagogue of the Hadassah-Hebrew Medical Center in Jerusalem.
