• Boards show some smudges, a bump, edgewear.  Corners are bumped.  See photos.  
• Spine has gilt text and is bright with softened ends.
• Binding is strong.  
• End papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear; author signature on front fep. 
• Foldout maps are at back of volume, seemingly untouched.
• Illustrations are bright and clear.  
• Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear, with a few smudges.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
• Text block edges have a few marks.  
• DJ looks great behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
• Close examination of DJ reveals light edgewear, bumping along top edge, small chips, closed tears.  See photos.

First printing.  Publisher's pale olive boards with gilt title at spine.  With original, unclipped dust jacket, preserved beneath Mylar with archival paper backing.  Some cosmetic blemishes to the boards and a gap at the text block, but generally bright and with fold-out maps seemingly untouched.  Condition is solidly Very Good.
