Very scarce. The text is presented in the French language. Includes ten pages of Roman coins with as many as 45 per page. 218+ pages with index. 5.75" by 9.25".

Title translates as Numismatic of the Roman Republic.

Important note: while the publisher information contains no explicit statement concerning the date of publication, there is however a date, 1921, written in pencil. This may indicate the date of the book's publication which is somewhat consistent with the writing on the ffep.

Hardback is overall in FAIR condition.

• Brown cloth boards show few defects which includes the front boards appearing slightly bowed, two faint white marks to front, a small indentation to lower portion of rear board, and bumped corners with light scuffing. Overall, the boards are in good condition.
• Spine features gilt lettering and bands at head and tail with sutble signs of wear such as indentations along the shoulder, scuffing, and the head and tail being gently pushed.
• The front hinge is cracked with exposed webbing. Additionally, the rear hinge appears to show signs of cracking though remains secure.
• The ffep is shadowed with faint writing in ink and vague impressions in the leaf.
• Endpapers show writing in pencil.
• The half title page shows writing in ink.
• An additional detail concerning the rather obscure status of this publication can be found on the title page where 1921 has been written in pencil beneath the publisher's information.
• The textblock is for the most part free of any appreciable defects though does show signs of age and ownership such as pencil marks to the margins of pages 11-16, age-toning, light foxing seen primarily along the perimeter of pages, and from pages 126-129, the leafs are partially detached at uppermost portion though are secure. Overall, the interior shows legible text on clean pages.
• The binding feels brittle in areas though is secure overall.
• No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
