Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition.

  • Volume is in overall very good condition showing toning and minor smudging on covers and minimal toning inside.
  • Color illustrated covers feature black text and lithographs from the book.
  • Boards display overall toning and smudges with some light brown stains near lower edge on front, as well as some edgewear with small scuffs and rubbing to upper corner of front.
  • Quarter-bound in brown cloth.
  • Spine displays slight fading, and some light softening at ends.
  • Binding is secure.
  • Interior displays minimal age-toning, with scarce occasional smudges, 
  • Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. 
  • Page edges display faint marginal toning, scarcely turning to light foxing where most accentuated. 
  • Text block edges show expected toning.
  • Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
