A very good copy of this fundamental work of electrical engineering. Black library binding is firm, fold-out charts and figures crisp. Age-toned throughout, and a little bumping to the foot edge, but shows no signs of wear from use.
Horace Field Marshall (1865-1932) was an American electrical engineer who worked widely in the United Kingdom on projects including the Central London Railway. This work treats the application of electrical engineering to railways, which was a major expansion of the technology. A serious technical treatise, it is illustrated with photographs and charts, many of them folding.
