A Very Good+ copy of this first retrospective collection of the photographic work by Cornell Capa (1918-2008).  First edition, publisher's charcoal boards and glossy white jacket with photo illustration.  Signed by both editors on the title page, and inscribed by Capa to Sue and Lester Wunderman on the half-title page.  Featuring 179 duo-tone illustrations.  Pages show some marginal toning; overall a crisp and attractive copy.

Cornell Capa had a long career as a photojournalist, starting at Life magazine.  He was also a founder of New York's International Center of Photography.  Joining Capa in that endeavor was Lester Wunderman (1920-2019), a notable photographer in his own right.  Wunderman, to whom Capa inscribed this copy of his book, is known as the creator of modern-day direct marketing.

First Edition, Signed on both the half-title and title pages.
