Very scarce. Signed by both authors on front endpaper. The frontispiece features a portrait of Claud Lovat Fraser (1890-1921) drawn by Albert Rutherson. In addition to the B&W and color illustrations, there are letters from Fraser to his parents and a section titled the Art of Claud Lovat Fraser. 39 pages followed by illustrations. 10.5" by 13.5".

Note: of the 39 plates, numbers 1, 12, and 18 are missing.

Hardback is overall in GOOD condition.

• Black cloth boards show two faint white smudges to the front. Cover is overall excellent.
• Spine features gilt lettering, bright and intact.
• Deckle edges.
• Illustrations have been maintained in vivid detail.
• Three plates are missing: # 1, 12, and 18
  
• Writing shown on ffep.
• Original red cloth bookmark is included though detached.
• The lower right front corner is bumped.
• Persistent, uniform spots can be seen to the lower portion of pages 2-7 otherwise the interior is very clean with bold text on clean leafs. Please see photos.
• Leafs are gently wrinkled.
• No writing, highlighting, underlining or other intentional marks.
• Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
