First Edition.  Publisher's blue cloth with gilt titles and gilt frame.  Massive compendium of contemporary work in large apartment buildings, mostly in New York City but with examples from Chicago and other large cities.  Illustrated with hundreds of photographs, drawings and plans, including futuristic frontispiece by Hugh Ferriss.  Some wear at lower edge of boards, but generally a fresh, unmarked copy.  Condition is overall Very Good Plus.

The editor Randolph Williams Sexton discusses the development of the apartment building type and illustrates it with work by virtually every major firm active in the 1920s.  Each example is illustrated with photograph and typical floor plan.  Sexton also discusses and illustrates details, interiors, and entrances.
