Hardback is overall in NEAR FINE condition.

Quarter-bound linen with patterned paper.
Binding is strong and secure.
Covers are clean, and corners are sharp.
Minimal rubbing to corners.
Foot of spine looks fine, but feels slightly softened.
Title block on spine has been torn, missing part of title.
Interior is lightly age-toned.
Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
Foldout maps are free of writing. A couple maps are starting to split from top of fold/crease.
Front hinge is starting to separate, with a split about 2" in length.
Ffep has light pencil writing, with some creasing parallel to fore edge.
Back fep has small bookseller stamp near foot of hinge.
Warping to front ffep carries through to text, fading in introduction.
Text block has deckled edges.
Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
