- Illustrations are bright and clear, some plates are tipped-in, others are full sheets with intact tissue guards.
- Interior is gently age-toned. Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
- Slip cover of tan board with black titles and illustrated label has head and foot panels absent, splits at seams, smudges, edgewear. See photos.

Richly illustrated with b/w illustrations, color plates (partly tipped-in) and 12 original lithographs in color by George Braques, Fernand Leger, Pierre Bonnard, Henri Matisse, Paul Klee, among others. All present and in very good condition. Scarce in its original slipcase. Condition is Very Good- with reinforcement to spine, split to front cover hinge and loose gatherings. Interior is Very Good, with all plates Very Good and complete.
