Published in commemoration of Jackson's inauguration, The Jackson Wreath was a gift book celebrating the first inauguration of Andrew Jackson in 1829. It is distinguished by fervent nationalism and populist rhetoric with its subtitle: "Glory, Gratitude, Patriotism," and the adulatory tone of the biographical sketch of the President elect. The music was composed by Mr. Braun, director of music at the Chesnut St. Theatre, and the map printed for the occasion.
