• No gift inscription or any other ownership marks
• Interior is free of any writing, underlining, highlighting or other intentional marks
• Binding is secure
• Shows evidence of once being quarter bound in leather, which is completely gone leaving the binding and board exposed
• Front and back boards are loose but attached
• There is heavy edgewear and exposed board, especially at corners
• Lower corners bumped, upper corners rounded
• Front and back boards show a mottled pattern or water damage and discoloration
• Pages show tanning and foxing
• Some pages have small rips and many corners are bent
• Slight musty scent
