Very scarce. Registered with the Music Box Society International under the Japanese International Chapter. Two books on antique music boxes with text in Japanese. The CD Book features a disc titled Musical Box Concert and is lavishly illustrated with vibrant color photos of these beautiful antiques. Volume 2 offers even more examples of fine music boxes, with even more photos of the interior workings. Both are well-documented with references. 75 and 78 pages. 6" by 8".

As stated, these volumes are imported from Japan and as such have retained the language with text in kanji, hiragana and katakana where necessary. As is customary with Japanese publications, the book is constructed with the pages arranged right-to-left and text reading top-to-bottom.

Japanese International Chapter draws its members mainly from Japan, but members from around the world are welcome. Two regular meetings per year are held, usually in June and November. Several small meetings are held in Osaka, Tokyo and other cities. The Chapter publishes two large newsletters (around 32 pages) and two handbills each year. Our chapter has collectors, music arrangers, manufacturers, museums, dealers, repairers, researchers and their families!
