Softback is overall in VERY GOOD++ condition.

A short story by Allan Gurganus (b. 1947).  “It had Wings” was originally commissioned by composer Bruce Saylor, who asked Allan Gurganus to write “a very short story ” to be set for mezzo-soprano. The piece was published in the Paris Review (Winter 1985 issue) and had its premiere in Rome in April, 1985.   

Illustrated edition of 335 copies, published by Horse & Buggy Press for The Readery at the end of 1997.  This is copy #9/335.  Signed by the author on the Colophon page.
