Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition, with a GOOD- DJ under Mylar.

• Illustrated covers with inked title. 
• Boards show some wear, smudges, bumps, edgewear.  Corners are worn, with exposed board.  See photos.
• Yellow spine is bright with bumped, frayed ends.  See photos.
• Binding is secure.  
• Yellow pastedowns and feps have some illustration shadows at back; one page heavily creased.  See photos. 
• Illustrations are bright and clear. 
• Interior is gently age-toned, exhibits some marginal toning, some signs of handling. 
• Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
• DJ is nicely preserved behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
• Illustrated DJ shows edgewear, chipped corners, tears along head edge with a 3/8" x 2" gap, bumping and chipping along foot edge, staining, corners are clipped on returns.  See photos.

An overall Very Good copy of this scarce First Edition.  Publisher's illustrated boards, with matching Dust Jacket behind Mylar.  Jacket is in As Is Good Minus condition, with staining and wear at all edges, and a deep, mostly closed tear at the head.  The interior, entirely hand drawn and lettered, is bright and fresh.

A children's book following the adventures of two rosy French pigs as they travel from France to America.  Written and drawn by Georges Duplaix (1895-1985), who is perhaps best known as one of the founders of the Little Golden Books series.
