Very good plus copy of the Catalogue Raisonné for American artist Edward Hopper (1882-1967), prepared by the Whitney Museum of American Art.  The 1968 bequest of Hopper's artistic estate to the Whitney was the single largest gift to the museum since its founding, and the long-standing association between Hopper's work and the Whitney has a logical outcome in this multi-volume catalogue raisonné.

First edition, as per the copyright page.
