A rare copy of Owtram's defence of the doctrine of atonement against the Socinians, part of ongoing debates in the Reformation period. William Owtram (1626-1679) was an English clergyman who published notable theological works. After leading the church of the House of Commons, St. Margaret's, Westminster, he gained preferment as the Archdeacon of Leicester.
De Sacrificiis libri duo is Owtram's principal work, first published in London, 1677.
