Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD condition, with a GOOD DJ under Mylar.

• Black cloth covers have gilt ornament on cover.  Boards show a little exposure, some smudges, edgewear.  Corners are sharp.  See photos. 
• Spine has gilt text and is bright with softened ends.
• Binding is strong.  
• Tan end papers/ pastedowns show little to no sign of age or wear.
• Signed by the author on the title page  See photos.  
• Interior exhibits minimal signs of age and wear; corner bent down at pg. 488.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.
• Text block edges have a little dust at head, some shelf wear, a dent, a few marks at foot.  See photos.  
• DJ looks great behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
• Close examination of DJ reveals edgewear and bumping, tiny chips, closed tears.  See photos.

This large single volume brings together three decades of poetry by Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997), including all his work that was published by City Lights, plus many other small presses.  With bibliography of Ginsberg's work, index of first lines.
