A purportedly sociological/political study of the world order after World War I by Maurice Muret (1870-1954), a Swiss journalist and author.  Muret was critical of the doctrine of self-determination as it was put forth by Woodrow Wilson.  The book was poorly received in American journals and newspapers.

The translation from French into English is by Charlotte Touzalin, an American historian who married Muret.
