Published for private distribution, presumably among family members, this particular copy is inscribed "Property of Samuel Howard Ogden, Christmas 1937."   A list of ancestors is inscribed on the front end paper.  Additionally, folded into the volume is a pair of letters from The Colonial Society of Pennsylvania to John Passmore Ogden dated 1977-1978.
