First Edition.  Oblong octavo.  Publisher's tan cloth with illustration and title in orange.  No jacket.  Smudges on the covers, edgewear especially at corners, spine ends are chipped and frayed.  A small library stamp at the corner of the title page.  Inscribed and signed by Robert Lasson and Chuck Hayden facing the title page.  Interior features full page illustrations rendered in white-gray-black and orange.  Rare in the Hardcover edition.  Condition is overall Very Good Minus.

The story of Oliver, the little orange barn kitten who fell into mud puddles, got milk on his face, and was afraid to go outside.  He wasn't dumb; he just couldn't see clearly.  His girl Linda took him to see the eye doctor, and pretty soon Oliver, with his cat eyeglasses, was happily jumping and playing with all the barn kittens.  Designed and illustrated by Charles S. "Chuck" Hayden, Creative Director at J. Walter Thompson, in free-wheeling modernist style.
