  • Evenings at Home by Uncle John: 96 pages. Features lovely b&w illustrations throughout. No gift inscription or any other ownership marks. Binding is secure. Cover boards show scuffing to the perimeter. Some scuffing to spine, a chip off head of spine and wear to tail. Clear tape at head and tail of spine. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Pencil markings on ffep, rfep and back pastedown. Pages are a bit darkened but very readable.
  • Sandford and Merton by Mary Godolphin: 96 pages. Features lovely b&w illustrations throughout. Binding is secure. Cover boards show some light soiling and scuffing to the perimeter. Spine is missing a 1.5" chunk off the head with some scuffing and wear to the tail. Corners are bumped and scuffed. A signature and numbers in pencil on ffep. Pages are a bit darkened but very readable.
  • Aesop's Fables by Mary Godolphin: 87 pages. Many stories about a variety of animals. Features lovely b&w illustrations. Binding is secure. Cover boards show light to moderate scuffing and scratches as well as scuffing to the perimeter. Spine is scuffed, head and tail are chipped, shows a piece of clear tape at head an tail. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Signature in pencil on ffep. Small chip off bottom of title page. A few minor tears throughout to top or bottom of pages, none interfering with any text or illustrations. Pages are a bit darkened but very readable.
  • Gulliver's Travels into Several Remote Regions of the World by J. C. G.: 92 pages. Features lovely b&w illustrations. No gift inscription or any other ownership marks. Front hinge is cracked with some play but binding is secure. Cover boards are lightly scuffed with moderate scuffing to the perimeter. Head and tail of spine show a piece of clear tape and are chipped and scuffed. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Some marks in pencil on front pastedown and ffep. Page 15 shows a tear to right side, not interfering with any text. Page 42 shows a small tear at bottom, not interfering with any text. Pages are a bit darkened but very readable.
  • The Rare Romance of Reynard the Fox the Crafty Courtier by Samuel Phillips Day: 95 pages. Features lovely b&w illustrations. No gift inscription or any other ownership marks. Interior is free of any writing, underlining, highlighting or other intentional marks. Binding is secure. Some scuffing and scratches to cover boards. Boards show moderate scuffing to the perimeter. Front cover shows two tiny dents to top. Spine is lightly scuffed with head and tail chipped and scuffed. A piece of clear tape at head and tail of spine. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Pages are a bit darkened but very readable.

Interior is free of any writing, underlining, highlighting or other intentional marks. Binding is secure. Cover boards are scratched and scuffed with moderate scuffing to perimeter. Spine is scuffed with chips off head and tail. A piece of clear tape at head and tail of spine. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Small chips off edge of pages 55-58, not interfering with any text or illustrations. Pages are a bit darkened but very legible.
  • The Swiss Family Robinson by unknown: 94 pages. Filled with lovely b&w illustrations. Binding is secure. Cover boards are lightly scuffed with moderate scuffing to perimeter. Spine is scuffed with chips off head and tail. A piece of clear tape on head and tail of spine. Corners are bumped and scuffed. Signature and small numbers in pencil on ffep. Pages are a bit darkened but very legible.
  • The Life and Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe of York, Mariner by Mary A. Schwacofer: 95 pages. Filled with lovely b&w illustrations. Binding is secure. Cover boards show light scuffing with moderate scuffing to perimeter. Spine is very scuffed with chips off head and tail. A piece of clear tape at head and tail of spine. Signature in pencil on front pastedown, 3 signatures in pencil on back pastedown with date. Pages are a bit darkened but very legible.
