• Pastedowns and feps have some light foxing. 
• Illustrations are bright and clear. 
• Interior is gently age-toned, exhibits some smudges.  Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks.

• DJ is nicely preserved behind Mylar and is backed with archival paper.
• Illustrated DJ has some edgewear, chipped corners, chipping along head edge, bumping and closed tears along foot edge, some staining to back, sunning of spine strip, wear at shoulders.  See photos.

A comprehensive guide to the technique of modern football offense, written by Charles W. Caldwell Jr. (1901-1957).  Caldwell, member of the Class of 1925 at Princeton University and holder of seven sports letters in baseball, football, and basketball, returned to the University in 1945 as head football coach.  Under his tutelage, the Princeton football team enjoyed a run of winning seasons and championships.
