- Buckram covered board features gilt illustration on front and gilt text on spine.
- Covers exhibit edgewear including exposed board at corners and some fraying, as well as a small dent in the center of fore edge.
- Spine has a library sticker, and bumped ends, with fraying and closed tears at foot, and larger tears at head, and a split at head of front shoulder about an inch down.
- Ex Libris and Ex Library: Inside cover pastedown has a library ink stamp and a bookplate from a previous owner; library ink stamps on title page, page 32 and on back pastedown and end papers. Pencil markings on back free end paper and sticker ghost from library system
- Inside pages are gently toned and free of writing and intentional marks.
