A Very Good Plus copy of this exhibition catalogue from the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, No. 108 from 1953. Designed by Dutch typographer Willem Sandberg (1897-1984), with striking wrap-around graphics. Tan card covers, red on the reverse, house the text by Argentinian art critic Jorge Romero Brest (1905-1989), photo plates of pieces featured in the exhibit, and artist information. A little marginal toning of the photo plates and faint creasing at the upper corner are the only faults.
The eight Argentinian abstract artists included are Clorindo Testa, Rafael Onetto, Sarah Grillo, Miguel Ocampo, Alfredo Hlito, Tomás Maldonado, José Antonio Fernandez Muro, and Lidy Prati. One of the earliest exhibitions in Europe of the Arte Concreto Invencion movement.
Catalogue No. 108 in the Stedelijk Museum series.
