Hardback is overall in VERY GOOD- condition. 

  • Volume features handsome colored designs on both covers, with red text on front.
  • Volume displays moderate overall wear to covers and interior.
  • Covers exhibit scuffing, as well as edgewear with rubbing and fading.
  • Spine features white English and Chinese text, and displays some rubbing with a chip along shoulders.
  • Binding is delicate, with some play. Front hinge is cracked behind endpaper about 5" from head. Back hinge hinge is cracked behind endpaper, with super showing for top half. Some gapping to gutters throughout, as if book was stored open flat. (See photos)
  • Interior is well preserved with vibrant, clean illustrations.
  • Some pages exhibit faint scuffing, mostly marginal.
  • Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. 
  • Textblock edges display some scuffing.
  • Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
