Overall in GOOD++ condition.

• Overall, books are clearly old, but nicely maintained. Still very readable with no significant notable damage.
• Full marble leather binding is strong and tight (possible professionally repaired/glued).
• Pages are clear.
• Text block is straight and solid.
• Edges are well-scuffed.
• Boards are rubbed, and dry.
• Spine is very worn, cracked and chipping.
• Feps and pastedowns have some writing, front and back, in both volumes.
  
• Inside pages have some foxing and larger age stains.
  
• Spine ends are chipped and torn.
