The author after much experience in the field of commercial art - and as a teacher of lettering - has prepared and described these plates in such a manner as to be of value to the beginner or advanced letterer.  Booklet is overall in VERY GOOD- condition. 

  • Staple bound orange cardstock wraps featuring stylized design and lettering to both the front and rear and exhibit moderate signs of wear and age such as writing in pencil to the front top right and prominent black scuff marks and soiling to the front and rear with minor edgewear, most notably to the rear top edge. Please see photos. 
  • Corners are bumped with creasing to the front lower right corner. 
  • Regarding the spine: a miniscule portion of the paper beneath the staples has been detached from the cover, leaving two prominent holes where the cover was fastened to the textblock; the spine exhibits heavy wear to the surface with additional cracks and tears and black scuff marks along a portion of the rear. Please see photos. 
  • Binding is secure.
  • Interior is gently age-toned and exhibits shadowing, most prominently to Plate 1 and Plate 43; minor soiling to the inner margin of Plate 35. Please see photos. 
  • Inside pages are free of writing and intentional marks. 
  • Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
