The first Lancaster Cycling Club of Lancashire, UK existed from 1887-1906. The Captain of this club (for all bar its first few months) until disbanded was Mr. Sam Dawson. He shares highlights and details in this book, particularly of different bicycle tours. A B&W frontispiece features a man standing next to a high wheel bicycle. Another B&W illustration is a unique scene titled The Infirmary Parade. 151 pages. 5 X 7.25 inches.

- Front board has a darkened band along foot edge.
- Covers show some dirt and light edgewear, with bumped corners and spine ends.
- Owner sig in pencil on front pastedown.
- Feps are heavily shaded, with date in pencil on ffep.
- Other than a notable spot to page 149, interiors exhibit minimal signs of age.
- Inside pages are lightly toned, and free of writing or intentional marks.
- Text block edges are a little dusty with light foxing.
- Book may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
