From the acclaimed author of Dracula and other fiction, comes this fascinating documentary on the strangest personalities and most infamous hoaxes of past centuries. The Irish writer here put together some historical figures whose origin, aim and nature were a mystery to their contemporaries, and attempts to shed light on the enigmas through the unveiling of some of their stratagems. Never does he jump to conclusions, that are not the result of a thorough historical research on all available sources.
